The Asadorian Rug Company has been serving the St. Louis area for nearly 100 years. Born and raised in the St. Louis area, Stephen Asadorian is now the 4th Generation Asadorian to lead the family business with sales and service of authentic Oriental, Persian, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Indian imported area rugs. With a new, modern location, they are still have the BEST service and selection of rugs in all sizes. They specialize in Cleaning, Restoration and Appraisal services for your high-quality authentic imported area rugs.
“I grew up playing in the warehouse while my Dad and Grandpa worked in the store located in north St. Louis County. When my Dad and cousin decided it was time to part ways and close the original store, I could not imagine my life without rugs.
I imagined opening a store more centrally located to make it more convenient for our customers. When I found the Maryland Heights location I was sold. In Fall 2019 I officially opened my own showroom.
I now love watching my own kids run around the way my brothers and I did when I was young. I love my customers and appreciate their continued trust as I step into this new era for my family.”
It truly is a family affair! Stephen’s wife, Abby, helps out at the store, which means it is not uncommon to see their children Ava and Eli in the store as well. His brothers and their families often lend a hand too.
The new showroom, located in Maryland Heights is open 6 days a week and open to home owners, interior designers, and collectors of fine decor. They offer local pick-up and delivery in the St. Louis metro area and still offer unique finds and free value appraisals.
